Deputy Fire Marshals

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fire Marshal and Asst. Fire Marshal in Fire Prevention Bureau affairs
  • Conduct formal inspections of daycares, assisted living, and those that posses liquor licenses
  • Conduct formal inspections for business licensing
  • Assist the Fire Marshal and Asst. Fire Marshal with plans review to include building plans, fire sprinkler systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Public Education to include in-field and station tours, fire safety talks, and fire safety/emergency plans
  • Stand on call 24/7 for fire investigations
