A vehicle may be a pet's death trap during warmer days.
Warmer weather is coming and it may be best to leave your pet at home. The temperature inside of your vehicle on a warm and sunny day can climb to well above 100 degrees in a few minutes. An animal left in these conditions can develop brain damage, dehydration, and even death in a short time. Each year Billings Animal Control is called to respond to complaints of animals left in vehicles. Officers will remove animals from vehicles and issue citations for cruelty to animals.
