Proposals must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 19, 2010. Proposals can either be mailed to the City of Billings - Community Development Division, PO Box 1178, Billings, MT 59103, or dropped off at the Community Development Division Office located on the 4th Floor of the Parmly Billings Library, 510 North Broadway, Billings, MT 59101. Miscellaneous:
The City of Billings is requesting proposals from contractors, licensed contractors and professionals to assist in the implementation of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program for the Community Development Division, Billings, Montana. This program has been funded by the Montana Department of Commerce through the Housing Economic Recovery Act of 2008. The program will fund the purchase and rehabilitation of approximately 10 vacant, foreclosed homes to offer to low and moderate income households through the City’s First Time Homebuyer Program. The program may also include the purchase of vacant, foreclosed homes that must be demolished due to the cost of rehabilitation. In this instance, the City may procure services for demolition in order to remove a home for land banking purposes. The City is requesting proposals for the following: • Lead-Safe Certified Contractors in the following categories: General Contractors; Windows / Doors; Siding; Insulation; Roofing; Landscape / Dirt Work, Steel Seamless Rain Gutters, Flooring and Demolition. • Licensed Contractors in the following categories: HVAC; Electrical; and Plumbing. • Professional Services for the following: Real Estate. Proposal packets can be picked up from the Community Development Division, 4th Floor of the Parmly Billings Library, 510 North Broadway, Billings, MT 59101 on Friday, February 19, 2010.
