America Walks strives to increase walking and walkability in America. By 2020, America Walks hopes to see safe neighborhoods and attractive public places that encourage people of all ages, ethnicities, and incomes to embrace walking in everyday life.

Every Body Walk!

Every Body Walk is a campaign aimed at getting American's walking. Every Body Walk is working to spread the message walking 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week really can improve your overall health and prevent disease.

Walk Score

Walk Score believes walkable neighborhoods with access to public transit, better commutes, and proximity to the people and places you love are the key to a happier, healthier, and more sustainable lifestyle. Walk Score ranks cities and neighborhoods based on how walkable they are.

MapMyWalk

MapMyWalk provides an interactive tool to make walking social, simple, and rewarding. Through the mobile app you can log your walks and meals and share your results with friends. MapMyWalk provides over 70 million routes all across the United States or you can create your own.

Alliance for Biking and Walking

The Alliance for Biking and Walking creates, strengthens, and unites state and local bicycling and walking advocacy organizations. They provide advocates with the tools to win campaigns that transform communities into great places to bike and walk.
