Victoria Hill began her role as public information officer with the City of Billings in February of 2022.
With a background and education in journalism, serving as the city’s first-ever PIO was a natural transition for Victoria.
She enjoys the outdoor recreational activities in and around the city, along with the unique businesses, shops and restaurants that can be found throughout Billings.
Victoria and her husband own a home in central Billings where they’re raising their daughter who attends the neighborhood public elementary school. Together they like to go on hikes, play at the local parks, check out books from the Billings Public Library, and attend local events. They also have a dog and two cats.
She grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
Victoria worked for the ABC affiliate KTWO in Wyoming as the Fremont County bureau reporter from 2010 to 2012.
For a short time, she reported for online news platform County10.com, also in Fremont County.
From there she moved to Billings in the fall of 2012 and reported for CBS affiliate KTVQ for two years.
Victoria was then promoted to be the anchor of Montana this Morning and woke up the people of Billings and eastern Montana for 7.5 years.
She’s proud to call Billings home and is honored to work for her neighbors, friends and everyone in the Billings community.
