Special Requirements:
Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Billings, Montana, in an amount not less than ten per cent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a contract with the City of Billings. If no contract is entered into, by the successful bidder, within 30 days the bond will be forfeited to the City of Billings. Bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid, by the City Council.
Miscellaneous:
The City of Billings as a recipient of DOT FAA AIP funds has made a commitment to insure that minority business enterprises (DBE/WBE/MBE) have the maximum opportunity to participate in contracts where Federal Funds are provided in part or in whole.
