INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed bids for the construction of SID 1404 Park and Irrigation Improvements for Annafeld Subdivision, 1st Filing, Phase 1 Parks will be received by the Billings City Clerk, 210 N. 27th Street, Billings, MT 59101 or P.O. Box 1178, Billings, MT 59103 until 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The work items include:

All Schedules. Contractor shall complete Parks 1 through 4, and the Hogan Slough Trail, inclusive, except that the west side of Park 2 shall be constructed last, since there is adjacent residential construction occurring. It is anticipated that any sidewalk not included in this contract, but shown in the drawings to be completed by others, will be completed before the required landscaping in this contract.

Required deposit is $60.00 per set, which is not refundable.

Required deposit is $60.00 per set, which is not refundable. There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the City Park’s Office, 390 North 23rd Street, Conference Room One, Billings, Montana at 2:00 P.M. on April 16, 2019. Interested Contractors are encouraged to attend. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County, and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to City of Billings, MT, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidder(s) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as listed above. The City of Billings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
