Public Notice - Disposition of City Property & Call for Sealed Bids
Notice is hereby given that the City of Billings, Montana intends to sell real property to the highest bidder described as follows:
ROLLE SUBD, S28, T01 N, R26 E, BLOCK 3, Lot 5
The property is a 4.08 acre flag lot located on the south side of Alkali Creek Road with an approximate 40 foot wide street frontage between the addresses of 248 and 336 Alkali Creek Road. The bulk of the property lies mid-block between Alkali Creek Road and Airport Road. Tax Identification Number A13375. This parcel was dedicated as parkland when the Plat for Rolle Subdivision was originally filed, but the City has now determined that it is in the best interest of the public for the City to sell this parkland. The City believes the property would better serve the public through private development.

Each bid submission must state the purchase price offered and all proposals are the property of the City of Billings. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the City of Billings. This call for sealed bids does not bind the City of Billings to award a contract or to pay any costs which may be incurred for the preparation of bids submitted. A minimum purchase offer for this property is set at $88,900. Offers to purchase the property must be submitted to The City Clerk of the City of Billings, 210 N. 27th, Billings, MT 59101, no later than 2:00 p.m., MST on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
