Sealed bids entitled Rose Park Pool New Operations Building for Billings Parks and recreation, Billings, Montana, will be received addressed to the City Clerk, of the City of Billings, 210 North 27th Street, Billings, Montana 59101, or P.O. Box 1178, Billings, Montana 59103 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, and then publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in the City Hall Conference Room.

The contract documents consisting of Drawings and Project Manual may be examined or obtained at the office of CTA Architects Engineers, 13 North 23rd Street, Billings, MT, 59101 upon deposit of $100.00 per set, and 100 percent conditionally refundable if returned in re-usable condition. A separate deposit of $25.00 (non-refundable) is required to receive the ‘Bid Form Packet” which is required as part of the Sealed Contractor Bid. Only recipients of the ‘Bid Form Packet’ will be placed on the Plan Holders List, to whom addendums will be issued. Contract Documents and Project Manuals will be available starting Friday, July 7th, 2017.

| There will be a Pre-bid Conference in the Billings Parks and Recreation Conference Room, 390 North 23rd Street, Billings, MT 59101, on July 18, 2017, at 2:00 pm. This meeting is non-mandatory, but interested contractors are encouraged to attend. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors in performance of this Contract will be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of the CITY OF BILLINGS and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the CITY OF BILLINGS, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a Contract with the CITY OF BILLINGS. If no Contract is entered into, by the successful bidder, within thirty (30) days, the bond will be forfeited to the CITY OF BILLINGS. Bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid, by the City Council. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids, which is 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids received, to waive irregularities, to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept that bid which is in the best interests of the CITY OF BILLINGS, Montana.
