Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond payable to the City of Billings, Montana, in an amount not less than ten per cent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a contract with the City of Billings. If no contract is entered into by the successful bidder within thirty (30) days of the bid opening the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Billings. Bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid by the City Council.

The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive irregularities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the proposal that is in the best interests of the City of Billings, Montana
