| Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Billings, Montana, in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a contract with the City of Billings. If no contract is entered into by the successful bidder within 30 days, the bond will be forfeited to the City of Billings. Bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid, by the City Council.
