NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:  The Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Lands, Billings, Montana has determined that an “Alternative Project Delivery Contract” is justified for the renovation of the Rose Park tower water slide in that the project presents significant schedule ramifications and the design process involves technical complexities that this process will contribute to significant cost savings.  The process will involve the following:

Slide Project Delivery Teams submitting “Contractor Qualifications Questionnaire” for review under the “Alternative Project Deliver Contract” method of project delivery.  The project screening team will review qualifications, references and Preliminary Budget as needed to select Project Delivery Teams qualified for an interview. Following the interviews a Slide Project team will be selected and a final maximum price contract will be negotiated.

DOCUMENTS:  The Contractor Qualifications Questionnaire (CQQ) and a Project Scope Package may be examined and/or obtained at the office of the Project Manager, INTERSTATE ENGINEERING, INC., PO Box 20953, 1211 Grand Avenue Suite 6, Billings, MT  59102; phone (406) 256-1920.  A set of the Project Scope Package may be obtained from the Project Manager.

MILESTONE DATES:  CQQ’s from interested Slide Project Delivery Teams must be returned to the Project Manager at Box 20953, Billings, MT  59104-0953 no later than 5:00 P.M. December 21, 2012.  A list of Contractors that submitted for consideration, as well as those selected for telephone interviews will be available January 3, 2013.  Interviews will be scheduled and held on January 8, 2013 to select a preferred Slide Project Delivery Team and the preferred Slide Project Delivery Team will be selected by January 10, 2013.

EXPERIENCE:  All submitting Teams accept and understand that experience in general construction on swimming pool projects with emphasis on tower water slide installation will be  an important factor in the  final selection.
