Plans and specifications are available for viewing at the City Engineer's Office and the Builder's Exchange of Billings. Plans and specifications may be obtained from Engineering, Inc., 1300 North Transtech Way, Billings, Montana 59102 for a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. Requests for out-of-town delivery must be accompanied by pre-paid postage.

Special Requirements:
All bids and contracts submitted under this invitation shall comply with the Provision of Article 13-500, Billings, Montana City Code unless modified in the Contract Documents. All laborers and mechanics employed by the contractors or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as required by the laws of the State of Montana. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to City of Billings, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidder(s) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a labor and materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided.
Miscellaneous:
There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the office of Engineering, Inc., 1300 North Transtech Way, at 2:00 p.m. on August 6, 2008. Interested Contractors are encouraged to attend.
