NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
FOR A DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER (DVR) SYSTEM
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION & TRANSIT
The City of Billings, Montana, is requesting proposals for a DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER (DVR) SYSTEM for the Department of Aviation & Transit. Proposals shall be received addressed to City Of Billings, MET Transit Division, P.O. Box 1178, Billings, MT 59101, Attention: Debra Hagel, Transit Planner, until 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2010.

Proposers may withdraw their proposal either personally or by written request at any time prior to the due date set for receiving proposals. No proposal may be withdrawn or modified after the due date and time.
Funds for this project will be provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The successful vendor will be required to comply with all applicable FTA, ADA, EPA, and DOT regulations, Federal and State Equal Employment Opportunities laws and regulations, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
The City of Billings Aviation &Transit Department hereby notifies all potential vendors that it is committed to assure that any subsequent contract will utilize Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs) to the full extent practicable, either as a price contractor or subcontractor. No vendor will be discriminated against on the basis of sex, race, color, or national origin in the consideration of the proposal. A copy of the City of Billings’ DBE plan is available by calling (406) 657-8217.
The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive irregularities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed ninety (90) days, and to accept that proposal which is in the best interests of the City of Billings, Montana. Award of any contracts contingent upon approval by Billings City Council.
