Calendar Days Schedule II - Park 2 Landscape Improvements (west side); (Park 2 west side, cannot begin until the home construction surrounding the park is completed since this area will be used as staging during home construction. The home construction work is scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2018, this is subject to change. The 90 calendar day contract for Schedule II is anticipated to begin in the Spring of 2019);
Schedule III - Park 4 Landscape Improvements. (Park 4 cannot begin until the Private Contract P-742: To Provide Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Drain, and Street Improvements for Annafeld Subdivision, First Filing, Phase II, improvements are complete. This work is scheduled to begin in August of 2018 with an anticipated work schedule of 60 days, this is subject to change).
The contract documents consisting of drawings and project manual may be examined at the Billings Parks, Recreation and Public Lands’ Office or the Montana Plan Exchanges and may be obtained from Sanderson Stewart; 1300 North Transtech Way, Billings, Montana 59102 in accordance with Article 25.01 of Instruction to Bidders. Required deposit is $100.00 per set, which is not refundable.
There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at the City Park’s Office, 390 North 23rd Street, Conference Room One, Billings, Montana at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Interested Contractors are encouraged to attend.
CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County, and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to City of Billings, MT, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidder(s) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided.
No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as listed above.
