Project
Description: Renovating the Heating
Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for the Belknap Service Center,
2251 Belknap Ave., Billings, Montana 59101.
The project will encompass the following upgrades/renovations to the
building:
1.
Replacement of the existing 35-ton
variable air volume roof top air conditioner.
2.
Replacement of the existing
building temperature control system.
3.
Replacement variable air volume boxes.
4.
Replace existing downstream
ductwork.
5.
Replace one and add an additional
boiler water circulating pump and valving.
6.
Replace pressure tank, pressure
regulator and all bypass valving.

| The contract documents consisting of Drawings and Project Manual may be examined or obtained at the office of CTA Architects Engineers, 13 North 23rd Street, Billings, MT, 59101, upon deposit of $50.00 per set, which is not refundable. Only recipients of this ‘Bid Form Packet’ will be placed on the Plan Holders List, to whom addendums will be issued. Contract Documents and Project Manuals will be available starting Friday, January 12, 2018. The Construction Documents may also be examined at the following locations:

| CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

| Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the “City of Billings, MT” in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDER(S) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
