Separate sealed bids for the construction of ‘W.O. 16-18 – New 911 Call Center’ will be received by the City of Billings at the Office of the City Clerk, 210 N. 27th Street, Billings, MT 59101 or P.O. Box 1178, Billings, MT 59103 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
Project Description: A new 1-story 9,000 sf 911 Call Center located on the corner of N. 24th Street and 9th Ave. N. in Billings, MT. The new site includes secure parking, a utility yard with landscaping, and all other Work indicated in the Construction Documents.

| The contract documents consisting of Drawings and Project Manual may be examined or obtained at the office of CTA Architects Engineers, 13 North 23rd Street, Billings, MT, 59101, upon deposit of $100.00 per set, 100 percent conditionally refundable if returned in re-usable condition. A separate deposit of $25.00 (non-refundable) is required to receive the ‘Bid Form Packet’ which is required as part of the Sealed Contractor Bid. Only recipients of this ‘Bid Form Packet’ will be placed on the Plan Holders List, to whom addendums will be issued. Contract Documents and Project Manuals will be available starting Friday, May 26, 2017. There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at the office of CTA Architects Engineers, 13 North 23rd Street, Billings, MT, on June 19, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. This meeting is non-mandatory, but interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the “City of Billings, MT” in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDER(S) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. This project is funded in part or in whole with funding from the City of Billings 911 Comm Center Reserve Fund. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
