The project consists of:
Interior demolition and approximately 2,400 sf phased interior construction of the 1st floor Laboratory at the Water Treatment Plant including new finishes and lighting for the existing 1,400 sf 2nd floor office space. Work includes demolition/abatement, architectural, mechanical & electrical with minimal exterior / structural work and no site / civil work.

| The contract documents consisting of Drawings and Project Manual may be obtained at the office of A&E Architects, P.C. located at 608 N. 29th Street, Billings MT 59101 in accordance with Article 2.01 of Instructions To Bidders. Required deposit is $150.00 per set, which is not refundable. In addition, the Drawings and Project Manual may be examined at the following locations:

| There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference at the Billings Water Treatment Plant Conference Room, 2251 Belknap Ave at 2:00 o’clock PM on August 20th, 2013. Interested CONTRACTORS are required to attend.

| CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Yellowstone County and the state of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the “City of Billings, MT” in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids, which is 2:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013. The City of Billings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
