CALL FOR SEALED BIDS: NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids entitled Bus Wash and Pavement Upgrades for the METroplex, 1705 Monad Rd, Billings, Montana, will be received addressed to the City Clerk, of the City of Billings, 210 North 27th Street, Billings, Montana 59101, or P.O. Box 1178, Billings, Montana 59103 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

There will be a Prebid Conference in the Conference Room at the METroplex, 1705 Monad Rd at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Failure of the CONTRACTOR to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the scope of this project does not relieve the CONTRACTOR from the requirements of this Agreement.

Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the CITY OF BILLINGS, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a Contract with the CITY OF BILLINGS. If no Contract is entered into, by the successful bidder, within thirty (30) days, the bond will be forfeited to the CITY OF BILLINGS. Bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid, by the City Council.

Plans, Specifications, Bidding and Contract forms may be obtained at the offices of the consulting engineer, CTA Architects Engineers, 13 N. 23rd Street, Billings, Montana 59101, on the payment of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) fully-refundable for each complete set, beginning November 9, 2009. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids, which is 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
