Save the date!

The City of Billings is excited to share with our residents the upcoming changes to the stormwater program and how it may impact you and your utility bill. We invite all residents to be part of this important conversation!

Engage with us in meaningful discussions as we delve into:

  • Our comprehensive stormwater system improvement plan includes tackling deferred maintenance, promoting responsible development, and improving the water quality of stormwater going to the Yellowstone River
  • Moving the current stormwater fee from property tax statements to monthly utility bills

These enhancements aim to improve resiliency, reduce long-term infrastructure costs, and manage risks during heavy rain events while safeguarding against property damage.

Public Works will host meetings on stormwater program updates at the library community room on Tuesday, 5/28 from noon to 1 and Wednesday, 5/29 from 6 to 7pm

When and Where?

  • Tuesday, May 28th: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Wednesday, May 29th: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Both meetings will take place at the Billings Public Library, 510 N. Broadway, in the Community Room.

We know adapting to changes may raise questions as we build a better stormwater system together. Our dedicated staff will be available to provide insights and address any of your concerns.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
