Planning and Community Services Department Closing Offices to the Public and Continuing Customer Services
Until further notice, the Planning and Community Services Department will be closing our offices to the public the week of March 23, with a soft closure starting Monday, March 23 as we inform our customers and a full closure on Tuesday, March 24 at 8 am.
We are not ceasing any of our services with this change. Staff will be at work in the office answering phones, checking email and processing plans and applications.
To continue to serve our customers and the public, we will have a pick up and drop off area set up in the 1st Floor Conference Room of the Miller Building where customers for Building, Planning and Code Enforcement may drop off materials and pick up completed plans and applications during regular business hours as they would now.
We will be pushing our staff and customers to utilize our online tools through our Citizen Access Portal at https://services.billingsmt.gov/citizenaccess/ and moving even more application access capability online in the coming weeks. The idea is that anything we can do with our customers via Citizen Access, phone and email, we will move to do that as the situation evolves.
If you have questions during this transition, please call our main office at 247-8676 or visit our website at https://Planning-Community-Services Phone and email contact information will also be available at the pickup and drop off area for each service area and staff will be expecting calls and emails.
Thank you.
