There has been a lot of conversation within the Billings community regarding the proposed Multi-Generational Recreation Center, which is incredible! We thank everyone who has taken the time to call, write, and speak up on the topic.
The city council chambers were packed during Tuesday night's work session as the council was given a presentation on the center's proposed final plans. Watch the meeting here:
In addition to the public comment and dozens of emails received by the council, they were also given about 100 letters and drawings from the students at Newman Elementary School in Billings, with many of the students expressing excitement over the possibilities of learning new skills like ice skating and swimming.

The council is slated to decide on adopting the plan during a February regular business meeting. No decisions were made during Tuesday's meeting. If the council decides to adopt the plan, a discussion on funding options would come at a later time.
