CDBG-CV Fast-Track Public Services

In December 2021, the Community Development Board and the Billings City Council approved staff's recommendation to facilitate a CDBG-CV fast-track application process for public service activities, including emergency rent, mortgage, and/or utility assistance; mental health; healthcare; food assistance; adult education, job coaching, employment assistance; childcare and/or tutoring; non-congregant shelter; Wi-Fi to access social services; vaccination activities; etc. 

The City Council approved a total allocation of $150,000 to be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Grant awards per organization will be $10,000 to $15,000 per award. 

If an organization seeks an award over $15,000 for a public service, or an award for a public facility improvement, please reference www.BillingsMT.gov/CDBGcv for application instructions. 

FAST-TRACK PROCESS:

Download and complete a Fillable Application Form (MS Word) or an Application Form (PDF) and submit it along with the required documents to Tam Rodier via e-mail at rodiert@Billingsmt.gov. As an alternative, applicants may mail or hand deliver materials to Tam Rodier, Community Development Division, 2825 3rd Avenue N, Suite 610, Billings, MT 59101.
